Love, Marriage and Forever

Most of you don’t know, but Hubby proposed to me on February 13, 201o. So we really celebrate that day instead of the traditional Valentine’s day. I have many friends who were proposed to or married on the 13th or 14th of February. Alas, today is the day to celebrate love. So I will show you one of my favorite photos that I took from my wedding.

A-Z Archive Challenge: L – for love

Love – (according the MW dictionary) “a strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties.” So here are a few photos that show love in some manner.

This photo is of a colt and his mother.

Lovin'

This photo is of roses found on Memorial Day in the river in Roaring River, MO. It appeared that someone had thrown them in the river. The spider refused to budge from the roses. Perhaps a love scorned?? Or a love remembered??

Love Bites

These are two of my favorite things…

A great time – spending time with our daughter and Amy’s Ice Cream (Austin, TX based ice cream chain). Nothing beats smiles and laughs from Lu and the fresh and creamy taste of mexican vanilla ice cream with strawberries. Just bliss!!!

Weekly Photo Challenge: Indulge

When I think of the word indulge it means that I get to treat myself or someone I love with something that isn’t had every day. So here are a few photos…

Indulge – in a good nap with someone you love

Indulge - in a pedicure with friends

Indulge - in a good martini

Indulge - in a good cigar

Tulips – my all time fav flower! – a picture from yesterday

I just LOVE tulips! My now- husband made another impression onto my heart when he sent me tulips for my birthday only two months after meeting me. Siiiggghhhh!!!

Anywho….here is a shot of one of my tulips from years past. I find that the centers and the pollen – or pixy dust as I prefer to call it -  just make them even more beautiful with the delicate leaves and cradling shape.
