Where’s My Backpack Travel Challenge: Leading Lines

For this past Memorial Day weekend we (Hubby & I) were in Hot Springs, AR. On Friday night we made it in time to watch a fireworks show on the lake. I had remembered to take my tripod for the camera and was doing a little experimenting with the shutter speeds and such before the show. As darkness neared I happened to catch this photo of the boats lining up on the lake to watch the show. Their lights were really neat vivid colors as well as the lights on the shore. So I hope you enjoy these leading lines!

And to see the original challenge go to the Where’s My Backpack: Leading Lines.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Movement

Memorial Weekend we spent a few days in Hot Springs, AR. I took these two photos sitting on the front porch of the Arlington Hotel – a lovely hotel with that old-fashioned, back in the day feel about it.

The first is the movement of the cars on Central Ave.

The second photo is of the horse carriages that move along Central Ave. You can see the horse as it moves along – it’s very faint but there…
