This week Cee had some reflective questions in her Share Your World challenge. I kept the answer fairly short – didn’t want to ramble on…
What would you name the autobiography of your life?
Lessons in Life I Wish I Had Learned Before I Made the Mistake
Which do you prefer sweet, salty or buttery?
Sweet best but salty follows the sweet
What’s the finest education?
The one that challenges you and feeds your mind…
What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?
Watching the calves run and play with each other in the cool rain.
Just loving Cee’s challenge of Share Your World and I’m posting for Week 39.
Here we go!
You are given $5,000 and the chance to exchange it for one of two envelopes. One envelope contains $50,000 and one contains $500. Do you make the trade? Why or why not?
Ok, I am trading for the $5,000. Tell you why – We’re wanting to move closer to our baby girl and this can help us!
Do you believe in the afterlife? Reincarnation?
I believe that anything is possible but most importantly two things: 1) God will decide what is in the “afterlife” for me and 2) My husband is my soul mate and will be there with me for whatever it may be.
If someone made a movie of your life would it be a drama, a comedy, a romantic-comedy, action film, or science fiction?
Oh, my, it would be drama, comedy, romantic comedy, romance and goodness knows what else! And probably not rated G or PG! Lawd, I hope that never happens!!
If you had to spend one weekend alone in a single public building or institution, which building would you choose?
This is a hard one. I like Cee’s answer of the Smithsonian but alas, my intellectual being is often overridden by my fun being. So I’d have to say I can describe what I would want rather than knowing the actual place. Sooo….. somewhere I can lay in a lounge chair soaking up sun, ride roller coasters, explore old/antique/abandoned building, watch animals and birds and the like interact, play with puppies and kittens, and drink a beer and smoke a cigar with my husband. So I don’t know what or where that place it but that’s my description. Oh, and include my family being there for the weekend, too. And some fabulous food..
As always, I just love Cee’s challenges! These are my answers this week!
What were you most likely doing on this day when you were 12 years old? Humpphh… this one makes me feel old b/c I can’t remember….but I likely was out riding my bike, playing with our dog or cats, or pestering my sister. And I’m not even going to share a photo of me at 12!!
If you could…photograph any scenery that you have seen before, what scene would you use? I’m a Libra, too, so I can’t choose just one place. So I am torn between Venice and anywhere in the Caribbean. One of my favorite photos from Venice:
Torre dell’Orologio (© Tisha Clinkenbeard)
What is your favorite type of dog? One that loves and plays! Here are some photos of our two dogs:
Getting back into the groove on blogging again, I go back to one of my fav bloggers and this is one of her challenges: Share Your World Week 37!
Here are the questions and my answers:
What is your favorite outdoor activity? In the summer definitely hanging out in our swimming pool with my husband, a good book, our kiddos, and/or a good, cold beer and a cigar. Any combination works and if I can have them all at the same time I’m a happy lady! So here’s a peek at our “redneck” swimming pool:
For those who might be confused it is in our very large pond and that wood you see at the bottom right is our pier. Works wonderfully! (photo courtesy of our neighbor).
Do you prefer your food separated or mixed together? I’m totally a separated person except when it comes to mashed potatoes and boudain.
But I don’t have many photos of my meals so I’ll show you one of my favorite meals – my husband’s fantabulous ribs!
If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live?
I have to say the Caribbean. Beautiful water, lovely beaches, windsurfing, great food… I could go on.
And, last question, what household chore do you hate doing? Well, I’ll admit it- all of them!!!
