On Saturday, I was interviewed by Michael Harris with CAGO (Contemporary Art Gallery Online) Media for “An Artist Speaks”. It was very exciting to be interviewed and a great opportunity to share my thoughts and feelings around/about my photography. If you have 30 minutes or so please go to the interview and then let me know what you think of it or any questions.
I’ll also share the photos here that I talked about in the interview. Enjoy!

How I do adore nature! Part of my fun in photographing nature is to look for the different perspective in what I see around me. Maybe you’ll find that little spider crawling on the flower or that beautiful burst of color in the center of the fall leaves. So Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge this week is ground. The first of the photos is one of the beach in Maui where in the early morning I found a child’s footprints in the sand. The second of the photos is a fall photo with some leaves and rocks. The third of the photos is where I took some liberties with the challenge. Since we love to snorkel the “ground” becomes the floor of the ocean. So with that in mind I am sharing a photo of the ocean, also in Maui, which has one of my favorite little creatures in it – an octopus. I hope you enjoy!

I love nature and Cee’s Fun Foto Challenges so this one for Bark or Leaves was a little easy but hard to decide which photos to share!

This gal is all about summer except when it comes to the colors of fall and spring. So I thought I would share a few of my photos of fall with you! Hope you enjoy!
I just love the colors of autumn leaves and the acorns, too. The variation of colors is truly beautiful. This year I found a bit of an after rain affect to some of the photos. So enjoy! (and this is also part of the Phonegraphy Challenge)
