How do you wish? What do you wish for? The Daily Post Photo Challenge: Wish is truly inspiring. I love the thought of pixies and fairies out there making my wishes come true. And those heavenly godmothers looking out for you…
So enjoy this week’s Wish!
Being a big fan of nature, I love the solitude while immersed in it and the feeling of peace and fulfillment.

As part of Photo A Week Challenge about Ice, I wanted to share some of the photos I have from winters past.

How I do adore nature! Part of my fun in photographing nature is to look for the different perspective in what I see around me. Maybe you’ll find that little spider crawling on the flower or that beautiful burst of color in the center of the fall leaves. So Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge this week is ground. The first of the photos is one of the beach in Maui where in the early morning I found a child’s footprints in the sand. The second of the photos is a fall photo with some leaves and rocks. The third of the photos is where I took some liberties with the challenge. Since we love to snorkel the “ground” becomes the floor of the ocean. So with that in mind I am sharing a photo of the ocean, also in Maui, which has one of my favorite little creatures in it – an octopus. I hope you enjoy!

Cee set the challenge this week for “capturing the roads, walks, trails, rails, steps, etc. we move from one place to another on.” So here are a few of my favorite paths and roads.

Spring brings all sorts of beautiful, and I mean beautiful, wildflowers in the great state of Texas. At our house we are blessed to see many of them in our own yard! So I wanted to share with you some photos from our yard. And a side note – the one that is my favorite is just now blooming – the Indian Blanket flower (otherwise known more technically as the Gaillardia pulchella) so look for more of those to come.
In the meantime – Enjoy!
