… at the Gallery at 930 Main St, Bastrop, TX for the First Friday Art Walk! I’m so excited to be participating in the Walk! We just moved to Bastrop and I just happened to get in on this month’s First Friday! So here are also a few of the photos that you will see on display when you come to visit!
After the Shower
Glenna’s Dogwood in the Snow
A Spider’s Center
We moved recently and honestly, I was a little concerned that I would lose one of the things I loved about my office at our other house – the birds coming up to the bird feeder that I could watch out my window. Turns out I’ve got a LOT of birds that love the bird feeders outside on our deck! Here are a few – had to take them from inside the house because they aren’t used to me yet…
Last night, my son and I went to see Interstellar at the movies. It’s been colder than normal here in Texas, as in many of the US states. But I was shocked when I opened the door of the theatre and stepped out into the SNOW! It’s not even Thanksgiving yet and it was snowing! I’m not a fan of the cold – give me a sunny beach any day of the week! It also reminded me of our horrid and destructive ice storm last December. Even in the destruction, though, you could find some beauty…
I took so many photos of bluebonnets this past Friday that I need to split it up into different posts! They are so beautiful, intricate and smelled amazing! So here is the field.
A wonderful afternoon autumn in a rural pasture.
Found these gems in the Austin area. They seem to be very similar to the Indian Blanket wildflower but a different center. Anyone know what they are?
A fellow blogger suggested a challenge on the word reflection.
So here are a few of my photos on reflections.
